MOUNT TAHAN (GUNUNG TAHAN)

Description: Mount Tahan is the highest point in West Malaysia. The height of this mountain is 2187 meter above sea level. Located within the National Park forest in the state of Pahang. There's two option to climb this mountain which you can choose an entrance from Merapoh or Kuala Tahan. The trail from both side connected to each other and will lead you to the summit. The level of difficulty also different, shorter climb can be done from Merapoh, while the first trail (longest) is from Kuala Tahan. Minimum duration to climb should not less than 4 days and not more than 8 days, depends on the number of group and the trail chosen. [Wikipedia]
